For StokerCon™ 2021, the HWA partnered with Hex Publishers and its editor, Joshua Viola, to create our souvenir book. Packed with stories, articles, and poetry, including pieces from our guests of honor, emcee Jonathan Maberry, the Colorado writing community (including Stephen Graham Jones), HWA officers, and our convention chairs, as well as stunning artwork by Aaron Lovett, AJ Nazzaro, and Kirk DouPonce, the StokerCon™ souvenir book has evolved from a casual companion to a writers’ convention into a full-blown anthology. It’s a shoe in to be one of the most popular works of the year.
Despite this year’s virtual format, the HWA remains committed to producing a physical book; it has become as much a part of the convention as the panels, presentations, and classes. In past conventions, the souvenir book has been included with your registration. The HWA believes this tradition should also continue. Therefore, each attendee to our virtual StokerCon™ will receive a copy of this amazing book. (International attendees will have the option to have it shipped to them at an additional cost.) You can’t beat this deal with a big stick.
